Sioux Roslawski is the literature teacher for grades 5-8 and the language arts teacher for grades 4-8. She is also a teacher-consultant for the Gateway Writing Project, and teaches a graduate class in the summer on the teaching of writing. Her bachelor's degree work was done at UMSL, and she earned her master's at Lindenwood. After 27 years of teaching in the Jennings and Ferguson-Florissant districts, Mrs. R retired from public school. Since she still loved teaching, she looked for and found a home at St. James.

She considers herself quite fortunate...

Mrs. R is the parent of two adult children; she has one 12-year-old granddaughter and three grand-cats and one grand-dog (a pug--ugh). She's committed to bettering the lives of pets, and volunteers for and serves on the board of Love a Golden Rescue. She and her husband have rescued and adopted many dogs, and currently have Radar, a 78-pound bundle of energy.

If you have a question or a concern please contact Sioux by calling the school and leaving a message (647-5244) or emailing her at sroslawski@stjamesthegreater.org
